i'm a student of music at the university of graz (austria) and at the moment i'm transcribing an electric guitar solo for a seminar paper and a presentation.

it's the guit solo of joe pass' & carol kaye's 'slick cat'... the prob is that i cannot find any information about this track online... i got the tune from a herbalizer lp (i'm a dj as well)... so to my question>>>

could you probably give me information about the song 'slick cat'

e.g.

1) musicians (who played what)
2) when was it recorded and on which release
3) is there any sheet music available
4) who composed the song > are ther other versions of it available
5) is it a 'real' song or just a jamm session over a 12 bar jazz blues
